How to use it
- 1
Paste a public page URL.
- 2
The tool extracts unique HTTP(S) links from static HTML.
- 3

What the tool can do
- Checks up to a safe limit of unique HTTP(S) links per run.
- Marks 4xx, 5xx, and network/policy errors as broken candidates.
- Does not download target page bodies: checks run with read_body=false.
Common use cases
- Find 404/500 links on a commercial page before publishing.
- Check external links after a migration, redesign, or CMS change.
- Reduce SEO risk from links to deleted pages and broken resources.
How it works inside
Checks use SafeHttpFetcher, DNS/IP policy, redirect limits, and no-body mode.
mailto, tel, anchor, and non-http links are not broken HTTP URLs and are counted as skipped.
Questions and answers
Why are some links skipped?
Skipped means the link is not HTTP(S) or the safe per-run check limit has been reached.
Can it check the whole site?
The current tool checks one page. A full site crawler must be a separate module with queueing, limits, and history.
