How it works inside

Output is rendered as plain React text and is never passed to dangerouslySetInnerHTML.

Non-ASCII characters can remain unchanged or be emitted as decimal or uppercase hexadecimal references.

Questions and answers

Is decoded HTML executed on the page?

No. The result is displayed as text, so tags and script fragments are not executed.

Are entities without a semicolon supported?

No. The tool requires an explicit terminating semicolon to avoid ambiguous decoding.
