How to use it
- 1

- 2

- 3

What the tool can do
- Dot and bracket properties, array indices, and negative indices.
- Wildcards, recursive descent, unions, and array slices.
- Existence and comparison filters using string, number, boolean, and null literals.
- JSON Pointer paths for every match while preserving repeated node selections.
Common use cases
- Testing a path against an API response or fixture.
- Finding nested properties without writing a script.
- Preparing a bounded JSONPath expression for an integration.
How it works inside
The parser does not use Function, eval, or JavaScript expression execution.
Traversal is bounded to 10,000 visited nodes and stops with an explicit error when exceeded.
Questions and answers
Are filters supported?
Yes, but only existence checks and simple comparisons using ==, !=, <, <=, >, and >=. JavaScript expressions and regex are not executed.
Is the JSON uploaded?
No. Parsing and querying run locally in the browser.
