- 3
Review title, description, robots, canonical, social metadata, and JSON-LD summary.
What the tool can do
- Checks metadata as one complete SEO scenario, not separate weak title/H1/description checks.
- Shows title/description length, canonical summary, robots directives, and social metadata coverage.
- Uses the backend SafeHttpFetcher with SSRF protection and HTML body size limits.
Common use cases
- Quickly check whether a landing page is ready for indexing and a sane snippet.
- Before release, see missing or weak HTML metadata signals.
- Compare canonical, robots, and social metadata after migration or CMS changes.
How it works inside
The tool extracts HTML metadata from the fetched page and does not perform JavaScript rendering.
Canonical is resolved relative to the final URL after redirects.
Questions and answers
Why is this not separate title and H1 checks?
Because separate microchecks have weak value. WebDiag shows them as parts of a complete metadata tool.
Does this replace a full SEO audit?
No. This is a single-page metadata check. A full site audit needs crawl, history, and additional checks.
