How to use it

  1. 1

Enter a public global IP address.

  2. 2

    Run the IP RDAP lookup.

  3. 3

Review the allocation range, CIDR, network handle, statuses, and abuse contact.

02

What the tool can do

  • Uses IANA IPv4/IPv6 RDAP bootstrap and the most-specific prefix match.
  • Shows registry range, CIDR0, handle, type, and country field.
  • Rejects private, loopback, and other non-global IP addresses.
03

Common use cases

  • Identify the registry network range during incident triage.
  • Find the network's published abuse contact.
  • Review CIDR and allocation handle without a commercial IP API.
04

How it works inside

The result describes RIR/registry allocation and may not reflect current routing or address leasing.

IP and RDAP bootstrap URLs use bounded safe HTTP fetching.

Questions and answers

Does the tool show a city?

No. RDAP provides network registration data, not a precise device-geolocation database.

Is this an IP reputation checker?

No. Blacklists, abuse history, and threat intelligence are outside this tool's scope.
